Throne bags

In June 2016, several of the Canton of the Towers members collaborated to create 2 throne bags for the new royal thrones. (The creating of the royal thrones was led by Peter the Red.) These bags are designed to protect the thrones during storage and transport to events. They are canvas on the outside, with strong web strapping all around. They are lined with wool, and several pockets are built into the bags to properly store each piece of the throne.

Primarily Aimee, Carly, and myself worked on the bags. I led the overall design, with plenty of input from others. Aimee did All The Math, working out how much fabric we would need, and how to best use the fabric with the least amount of waste. Carly and I did most of the sewing, and I did the finish work. Clockwork performed quality control and usability testing. With his feedback, the design of the second throne bag was improved.

Here are some photos of the process.

Here is a photo of the second throne bag, which I finished improving in October 2016.
